“Thank you BBC Swahili for the opportunity to share my thoughts around working from home and the future office space. Our discussion circled around;
1. Changing trends: working from the office vs remote working
2. Future of the office space and
3. Steps employers should take to ensure productivity considering realities of the office space.

In prepping for the interview, I deep dived into various articles talking about the future working space and remote working but the consensus gathered is that;
1. more companies will be willing to offer hybrid options when it comes to remote working vs office in the future
2. working from home option is only applicable across some sectors and roles and
3. employers/managers need to rethink the concept of the traditional office space while ensuring their employees are equipped to deliver (you can check out the talk we did with Paul Mbithi on Performance Management under the New Normal)
