“I have received the Africa Woman of Impact on Education Development 2021 Award organized by Africa Skills centre, South Africa in partnership with Leadership Outreach Network International, United States in Kigali Rwanda on 12th June 2021.
I was presently surprised and honored when I was informed. This award, the network of men and women pushing for Africa’s Development that I created in Kigali coupled with the discussions that we engaged in for the 3 days, is indeed priceless, worth all the COVID 19 tests I had to do.
I am deeply honored and whole heartedly accept this award as a catalyst for me to do more, I am just getting started, I believe the challenges Africa is facing can be solved by Africans themselves and to be precise the youth of Africa. Let us invest more in developing our youth as they continue to shape the future of Africa. The three days showed us that we need more collaborations across African countries to solve the cross-cutting issues that we face as a continent, we are after all, one big happy AFRICAN FAMILY.
This award is dedicated to the hard working men and women at Rightway schools, the kids and the entire Rightway Community. It is further dedicated to my Family, friends and the movers and shakers of the Education sector in Tanzania.”
