“On Sunday, the 5th of June, we had an opportunity to attend the celebration of the World Environment Day which was held at Zakhiem Grounds in Temeke.
It was such an honor for ATE Tanzania to be recognized and awarded a certificate of recognition for the work done in cleaning up the Kiburugwa Area in Temeke which had been turned into a waste dumping area. This was done in collaboration with Cohort 7 of the Female Future Programme as the participants took part in the cleaning and handled over cleaning equipments as a pre- event to their graduation in March 2022 which went hand in hand with a Conference with a theme centered around women engagement in climate governance.”
