Atiya has over twenty years of international experience in leadership and project management in the private and development sector. In 2019, Atiya was recognised as one of the Top 50 Women in Management in Tanzania. She has led projects in education, skills development, humanitarian relief, economic empowerment, refugee resettlement and fund and grant management. She also has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in building and delivering a portfolio of high profile and complex partnerships.

Atiya is a strong advocate for equal rights and opportunities for women. She is committed to helping women and girls tap into their potential, find their voice and take their place and live in the world fully. Atiya has lived and worked in Tanzania, Pakistan, Canada, Malawi & the UK.

Atiya has an MBA from the University of Wales and a Diploma in Organisational Psychology from Toronto, Canada. She is a bibliophile and has a passionate curiosity for learning. She thrives on initiating conversations which change mindsets and open up new possibilities.”
