Drag racing is not simply about having a powerful car. It is a contest of reaction, launch, control, mechanical preparation and the ability to translate horsepower into decisive performance.

At DARTT 2025, every fraction of a second matters.

Drivers will take to the racing environment at Kivule Road with one objective: deliver their strongest performance when it counts. For motorsport enthusiasts, meanwhile, the event promises the sights, sounds and intensity that make competitive motoring such a compelling spectacle.

As Episode II of the Season IV Championship Series, the meeting also carries significance beyond a single weekend. Drivers are competing within an ongoing championship environment where every appearance can contribute to their motorsport journey.

Registration is structured around two driver entry categories, making it possible for competitors to select an option suited to their participation requirements.

Basic Entry – TZS 100,000
The Basic category is priced at TZS 100,000 and includes a Competition Licence.

It offers a straightforward route for drivers ready to put their vehicles and driving ability to the test. For those whose priority is getting onto the competitive stage and experiencing the intensity of organised drag racing, this is the essential entry option.

Silver Entry – TZS 150,000
For TZS 150,000, the Silver category provides the Competition Licence together with additional event privileges.

Silver entrants receive a shared car shade for two drivers as well as VIP access for one person. The package therefore extends beyond participation, offering additional convenience and access during the event.

The chosen venue – Kivule Road, Dar es Salaam, behind Julius Nyerere International Airport – will provide the setting for the weekend’s motorsport activity.

For spectators and participants alike, the location puts the action within Dar es Salaam while creating a dedicated focal point for the event.

The dates are 26–27 September 2026. That means the opportunity to register is not something to leave until the last minute.

The event carries the support and identity of Tanzania’s motoring and motorsport fraternity, with AA Tanzania and Autofest Motor Sports Club represented on the official promotional material.

The presence of established motoring organisations reinforces the event’s competitive character and its connection to Tanzania’s wider automotive community.

Whether your interest lies in tuning, performance vehicles, racing or simply experiencing the atmosphere of a serious motorsport gathering, DARTT 2025 offers a reason to be at Kivule Road.
