Community service: My name is Gabriel Landa, I am an Endurance Cyclist and Chairperson for TwendeButiama Bicycle Tour.
I think every child deserves a happy childhood and the opportunity to build a brighter future in terms of child health, literacy, education, and empowerment. It is important to see child care as our responsibility and as a privilege to support them.
By supporting these children, we are not only helping feed their bellies, and giving them a bed to sleep on, but we are intervening on their behalf so they can lead a promising future that they might not have otherwise.
When you help a child, you can say that you have transformed the world and made a positive impact on people’s lives.

What is Uhuru Walk?
Uhuru Walk is an annual walkathon and treasure hunt that is created by the coming together of organizers, volunteers and sponsors. As an event that has welcomed thousands of participants over the past 8 years, it facilitates the provision of Early Learning Education, English Literacy Classes, and Charity Drives for disadvantaged children at House of Blue Hope Orphanage. This event supports our community service all-year-round
