Language courses: Kiswahili na Utamaduni (KIU) is a company based in Dar es salaam, was established in 1985 under Tanzanian laws of company main aim is to provide Swahili language training, cultural training, translation/interpretation, and education material to help people to get the most of their stay in the land of a thousand KARIBU (Welcome).

Communicating in a foreign language is a challenge for people engaged in development work in East Africa. During the last 30 years, KIU has developed extensive expertise in enabling expatriates to improve their language skills. As a result, our training has gained a very strong reputation in Tanzania.
