Beyond fundraising, Uhuru Walk 9 is a public demonstration of care: an affirmation that education is a shared responsibility.

A sense of purpose and accomplishment.
A commemorative t-shirt and the warm glow of community contribution.
Memories with friends, family and neighbours – plus a chance at cash prizes and safari experiences.

Structural: Donations enable long-term cognitive education programmes tailored to vulnerable learners.
Inspirational: Visible local support motivates policymakers, donors and volunteers to keep investing in education.

Bring your friends, form a team, or make it a family tradition. Schools, corporate groups and social clubs are encouraged to join and compete for the top prizes. Every participant is a fundraiser and an ambassador – a witness to the change education can deliver.
